Mrs. Mayo |
My name is Jen Mayo! I have taught at Wells Elementary school for 3.5 years. I started as an intern teacher with Charlotte Wilson in 2nd grade, then fell into a long term substitute. I was fortunate enough to then start working as a full time 2nd grade teacher before given the opportunity to teach 3rd grade as a content teacher with Michelle!
Prior to teaching at Wells, I taught at Spring Harbor Hospital with many different age groups and an array of student interests. Outside of school you can find me riding my bike, training for races, conquering mountains, and hanging with family & friends. My Husband, Nate and I love to be outside through all seasons and to travel. Currently, I am closing in on my Masters in Education at the University of Southern Maine. Every year I am excited to see how Michelle and I create new lessons and develop new meaningful relationships. |
Mrs. Boucher |
My name is Michelle Boucher and I love teaching children! I have been teaching 3rd grade at Wells Elementary for five years and one year as a Title One Math Teacher. Prior to coming to Wells, I worked in the Saco, Dayton, and Old Orchard Beach School District, formally RSU #23. I held various positions including 2nd grade teacher, Title One Math Teacher, LTS for 1st and 4th grade, Special Education Technician, etc.
Jen and I work hard to establish positive relationships with our students by creating classroom environments that are inviting, respectful, and supportive. We encourage students to do their best while also building their confidence and independence. We believe in making learning fun!! Even though students work really hard and take learning seriously, we always find ways to be a little silly and share in some laughter. My family includes my husband Brian and teenage son Eric, who is an avid golf player and studying engineering. We have one dog, Maple, and two cats named Peanut and Casper. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, working on home projects, biking, hiking, walking, and kickboxing. |
